Quotes about Dreams

Updated on February 22, 2014

What are Dreams?

For centuries humans have been perplexed and fascinated by dreams. Do they have a hidden meaning? Can dreams predict the future?

Sigmund Freud's publication of "The Interpretation of Dreams" helped introduce many to the mysterious world of the human mind. Freud called dreams the "royal road to the unconscious," and for over a century researchers have been trying to travel down that road.

Dreams are universal, and scientists have proved that they really do contain hidden meanings. Although the interpretation of dreams is somewhat of a mystery to most, scientists continue to study and dig into the human mind for answers.
