Innovation occurs when a great product or service goes through a renewal process to improve the quality and/or performance of an existing invention. Innovation can be seen as a change in the way a person thinks about something, and is the only way that renewal or improvement can occur.

Innovation is widely used in the improvement of many of the products found lying around the home. Inventions are the products of a new idea, innovations are ways to make improvements to the original product.
