Quotes of Wisdom

Updated on April 10, 2012

What is Wisdom?

Wisdom is a hard word to define. People may think that wisdom only comes with age, but many psychologists define it as the self-knowledge that one gains throughout their life experiences. People will seek out a wise person for advice because they see that they are sincere and stand up for what they believe in.

In general, people who are wise are able to face problems head on in a calm manner with a truly optimistic outlook of life in general. These are many times those that have at one point in their lives hit rock bottom, yet through their own strength managed to come out on top of some pretty difficult life situations.
